ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,331,645, issued on June 17.
"High-efficiency sine rotary engine" was invented by Byeong Woo Kim (Hwaseong-si, South Korea) and Seong Wool Kim (Hwaseong-si, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention is related to a high-efficiency sine rotary engine that converts rotational energy by burning fuel or using fluid pressure or transmits a fluid using rotational power, and also relates to technology for reducing friction between components to increase power transmission efficiency and increase a fluid sealing effect."
The patent was filed on Oct. 31, 2024, under Application No. 18/934,216.
