ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,324,415, issued on June 10.

"Multi-functional reconfigurable pet enrichment system" was invented by Frederick W. Ruckel (Gilboa, N.Y.) and Natasha Ruckel (Gilboa, N.Y.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method of using a reconfigurable pet enrichment system to help pets fulfill their natural behaviors is provided. The system can be arranged to facilitate an environment that helps stimulate, entertain, and exercise a pet, and also provides a defensible space for napping, resting, or sleeping.
