According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A bead-shaped fishing lure is provided that can easily be secured to a fishing line while a hook is attached to the line. The lure includes a body and cap, where the cap includes a protrusion and the body has a corresponding hole, where the cap and body can be affixed to one another by inserting the protrusion into the hole to yield a spherical or spheroidal shape.
