ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,324,465, issued on June 10.

"All-purpose face mask" was invented by Jacqulyn Mable (Bronx, N.Y.) and Tiera Singleton (Bronx, N.Y.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a novel all-purpose face mask device. The device is a protective facial mask that is configured to protect a user from germs, bacteria, and pathogens.
