ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,350,239, issued on July 8.
"Tactile sensory device for use by a baby or child" was invented by Jasmine Rawlinson (Marehay, Great Britain).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "There is provided a tactile sensory device for use by a baby or child. The tactile sensory device comprises a pulsation actuator configured to, in use, produce a mechanical vibration having a pulsatile waveform that is the same, or substantially the same as, a pulsatile waveform of blood flowing in an umbilical cord."
The patent was filed on Aug. 12, 2020, under Application No. 17/635,335.
