ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,352,202, issued on July 8.
"Electric turbocharger with cooling flow path" was invented by Koji Sakota (Tokyo), Yuji Sasaki (Tokyo) and Shun Nakayama (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electric turbocharger includes a motor including a stator, and a diffuser plate thermally coupled to an end surface of the stator to transfer heat from the stator to the diffuser plate. The diffuser plate forming a cooling flow path to circulate a cooling medium."
The patent was filed on Feb. 21, 2023, under Application No. 18/171,659.
