According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A piston system for a compression engine that detonates fuel during an appropriate part of the cycle includes a main piston and an inner piston that is within the main piston, and the head of the inner piston is preferably substantially smaller than the head of the main piston.
