ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,370,172, issued on July 29.

"Oral dissolvable film that includes plant extract" was invented by Eric Allen (Camarillo, Calif.), Robert Davidson (Newbury Park, Calif.), Tony LaRosa (Newbury Park, Calif.) and David Reid (Newbury Park, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Films (ODFs) that include botanical extract are provided, as well as methods of making and using the same."

The patent was filed on June 27, 2023, under Application No. 18/342,018.
