"High performance water soluble polymer compositions" was invented by Jeffrey Jacob Cernohous (Hudson, Wis.), Nathan Ockwig (Eagan, Minn.) and Gavriel DePrenger-Gottfried (Woodbury, Minn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A water soluble polymer composition comprising a water soluble polymer (e.g., polyvinyl alcohol-co-vinylpyrrolidinone (PVOH-co-PVP)) and a sugar (e.g., trehalose)."

The patent was filed on March 23, 2021, under Application No. 17/210,235.
