According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A baby carrier assembly includes a belt that can be worn about a mother's waist. A sleeve is positioned around the belt and the sleeve defines a cushion chamber that is centrally located on the belt. A cushion is positioned within the cushion chamber to facilitate a baby to be seated on the cushion chamber when the belt is worn around the mother's waist.
