According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An auxiliary visor system for use with or without helmet. Includes an attachment band formed of an improved stretch loop material with loop connector material on one side and silicone on the second. The second, inward facing side secures the front visor to the helmet. The stretch material provides inwardly-directed force to the exterior surface of a helmet.
