"Apparatus and method for generating and displaying three-dimensional images" was invented by Kenneth Epstein (Baldwin, N.Y.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A 3D volumetric image projection system includes a housing, a track positioned in the housing, an optical fold mirror configured to slide on the track to adjust at least an axial position of the optical fold mirror within the housing, and a curved mirror configured to receive reflected light from the optical fold mirror and project a three-dimensional image outside of the housing."
The patent was filed on June 13, 2024, under Application No. 18/742,900.
