According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A spray gun cover is made of flashspun high-density polyethylene fibers (e.g., Tyvek), another cloth-like material, plastic, or fabric. The cover is self-sustaining, and an elastic material is disposed at openings of the cover to secure the cover at the nozzle around the nozzle opening of the spray gun cover and at the back of the spray gun around a large opening of the spray gun cover.
