According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Sansevieria plant named 'HANSOTI56' is disclosed, characterized highly variegated foliage with an overall bright creamy yellow coloration of the leaf and a contrasting, broad central greyish-green band. The new cultivar can be classified in the Compact Sansevieria Group type Sansevieria and reaches about 25 to 30 cm in height at maturity, making it a shorter cultivar in this group.
