According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Sansevieria plant named 'HANSOTI55' is disclosed, characterized by a dark grey-green marginal band 2 to 17 mm wide but occasionally up to 25 mm wide on both edges of the leaf. These dark bands along the edge give attractive definition to the leaf and the added green makes for a stronger plant.
