According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A three-ply garment may provide coverage for wearers in the form of a soft, body-hugging garment with no elastic bands, no restrictive sides or back bands which may compress the body and cause discomfort and pain. The garment may include no underwire, no straps which may uncomfortably dig into the wearer's skin, no clasps, no front closures, no back closures, or similar uncomfortable, bulky, or rigid connectors or supports.
