ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,362,663, issued on July 15.
"Software defined electronic power converter with feedback control" was invented by Steven R Ward (Fort Collins, Colo.), Jan Walter Schroeder (Sotern, Germany), Joseph W Pawelski (Fort Collins, Colo.) and Toby Joseph Daniel Mould (South Croydon, Great Britain).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems, methods, and devices for converting electric power are disclosed. Converter modules convert power in a configurable manner in conjunction with a controller."
The patent was filed on July 11, 2023, under Application No. 18/220,648.
