ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,358,944, issued on July 15.

"Glycoform purification" was invented by Romas Skudas (Mainz, Germany), Annika Holzgreve (Seligenstadt, Germany) and Alisa Strobel (Mannheim, Germany).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a method for the separation and purification of glycoforms with an ion exchange separation material with amino-acid based endgroups."

The patent was filed on July 1, 2020, under Application No. 17/623,914.
