According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A knife includes a two-part handle that form a cavity therebetween and a blade with an integral tang. The blade is configured to be moveable longitudinally between an open position and a closed position. In a closed position, pressure is applied to the blade tang, the blade travels about the cavity of the handle and extends through an opening at the front of the handle.
