"Spa swing apparatus" was invented by Brent Speak (Alpharetta, Ga.) and Monica Speak (Alpharetta, Ga.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A spa swing apparatus tailored for use alongside water-containing structures, equipped with a water-resistant seating component, adjustable nylon straps with buckle mechanisms, and metallic latching hooks. These hooks interact with specially designed receptacle brackets mounted on the water-containing structures or mount to the lip portion of water containing structures.
