ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,344,356, issued on July 1.
"Handboard for bodysurfing" was invented by Steven B. Souder (Naples, Fla.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A handboard (1) that provides an improved configuration of hand holds and forearm holds to provide users with easier hold and control of the handboard while bodysurfing."
The patent was filed on July 20, 2022, under Application No. 17/869,083.
