"Fanatic participation device" was invented by Daniel Freddy Chirinos Taico (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Jorge Gabriel Luyo Pineda (Boca Raton, Fla.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fanatic participation device designed to enhance fan engagement at sporting events by transforming vocal enthusiasm into a tangible action-ball inflation. The device comprises a rectangular upright housing equipped with an air-compressor, weight and height sensors, a microphone, and a controller.
