ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,343,296, issued on July 1.

"Calf stretching apparatus" was invented by John A. Rembao (Ben Lomond, Calif.) and Gerard J. Collet (South Jordan, Utah).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A calf stretching apparatus includes a plate and a side wall upwardly extending from the top surface of the plate and disposed along the perimeter edges of the plate. Each of the plurality of side walls has a different height and is disposed proximate a respective perimeter edge of the plate. The plurality of side walls defines an inner space between inside surfaces of each of the plurality of side walls and the top surface of the plate."
