According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An apparatus for oral inhalation-driven administration of therapeutic substances to the airways and lungs of a human subject, which includes a body portion having one or more air intakes for the intake of ambient air, a mouthpiece, and a cartridge receiving port for receiving and engaging a dispensing cartridge containing at least one volatile therapeutic substance."
