"Holster facilitating master grip" was invented by Douglas J. Christensen (Medina, Minn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A polymer holster has an index finger slot on a distal wall portion of the holster for allowing a user to grip a handgun therein with a master grip before withdrawing the handgun therefrom. A thumb actuated release may be positioned on a proximal wall portion of the holster."
The patent was filed on June 25, 2024, under Application No. 18/753,983.
