According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A water-saving mop bucket includes an outer bucket, an inner bucket, a cover plate assembly and a pedal mechanism. The cover plate assembly is detachably fit in the middle of the inner bucket. The pedal mechanism is installed at the lower part of the outer bucket and extends upward through the inner bucket, and is detachably connected with the cover plate assembly.
