ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,520,837, issued on Jan. 13.

"Ventilated hanging game bag" was invented by Neil Touchette (Dundas, Minn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Light-weight, collapsible and well-ventilated game bags having a circulating fan adapted to promote air circulated into, out of and throughout the game bags may be used by hunters to store and transport game that has been field dressed in a way that prevents contamination, spoilation and rotting of meat."

The patent was filed on Nov. 1, 2023, under Application No. 18/500,023.
