According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A pet door groomer includes a pet door and a removably attached pet door pad. The pet door pad has a truncated cone shape with the apex plane attached at the top of the pet door and a wider base at the bottom. The pad contains perforations distributed across its surface that allow it to flexibly expand contract. Bristles are disposed on both sides of the pad.
