"Microfluidic method for single cell analysis" was invented by Annabelle Patricia Veronique Gerard (Palaiseau, France) and Vera Menrath (Saint Cyr sous Dourdan, France).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention concerns a method for capturing and barcoding nucleic acid from single cells, a plurality of microfluidic droplets and a method for preparing said plurality of microfluidic droplets."
The patent was filed on Feb. 13, 2024, under Application No. 18/440,213.
