According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fingernail sleeve device for enwrapping both the finger and the elongated decorated fingernail includes an opening. The opening is circular and is coupled to a surface. The surface has a finger side and a nail side and enwraps the end of a finger. The nail side is positioned upon the fingernail of the finger, and the finger side is positioned against the skin. A cavity protrudes out from an end of the surface and has a downward curvature.
