ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,521,281, issued on Jan. 13.
"Compression legwear with linear pads to control symptoms of varicose veins" was invented by Norman Noguera (Sherman Oaks, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Knee-high and thigh-high compression legwear for right and left legs are disclosed. The legwear, made to be worn by people who have varicose veins, includes elongated pads that are adapted and configured to exert a pressure of about 20-30 mm Hg over the veins."
The patent was filed on Nov. 8, 2024, under Application No. 18/941,607.
