According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An apparatus and method for convenient and safe carriage of golf tees in a pocket or a mount point for a ball marker is disclosed. The golf tee tool includes an elongated channel dimensioned to receive a ground-penetrating tip and shaft of a golf tee. A fluted frustoconical opening at a proximal end of the golf tee tool is dimensioned to receive the cupped ball support of the golf tee.
