"Reconfigurable pillowcase" was invented by Steven Williams (Boca Raton, Fla.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A reconfigurable pillowcase 10 has two congruent panels 12 of non-absorbent fabric connected at two lateral sides 14 and a closed distal end 16. Three handles 30 extend in a proximal direction from the proximal open end 18 of each panel 12. Fastening strips 22 inside the pillowcase's proximal open end 18 seal off the interior of the pillowcase.
