"Injection mortar" was invented by Christian Dreyer (Niederworresbach, Germany).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Injection mortar for anchoring a fastener containing a chemical composition that can cure in a curing process, and means for initiating the curing process characterized in that the chemical composition cures when irradiated with electromagnetic radiation, the means for initiating the curing process is formed by a radiation source for electromagnetic radiation, and the radiation source is placed within the anchoring zone."

The patent was filed on March 8, 2022, under Application No. 17/689,916.
