ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 26 -- United States Patent no. PP36,512, issued on Feb. 25.

"Helleborus plant named 'HG 1410'" was invented by Josef Heuger (Glandorf, Germany).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Helleborus plant named 'HG 1410', characterized by its upright to somewhat outwardly spreading and mounded plant habit; moderately vigorous growth habit; dark green-colored leaflets with lighter green-colored venation; freely flowering habit; dark purplish red-colored flowers; and good garden performance."

The patent was filed on Nov. 14, 2023, under Application No. 18/389,508.
