ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,543,637, issued on Feb. 10.
"Universal remote control conversion kit" was invented by Omar Alvarado (Gilroy, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A universal remote control conversion kit including components such as a remote control, battery or batteries, electronic control unit, wheels or drive system, and caster wheel assembly. The kit may be universally adaptable to various traditional push or self-propelled lawn mowers in order to convert said mowers, or utility carts, into remote-controlled units without permanently modifying the mower or cart."
The patent was filed on Oct. 25, 2022, under Application No. 17/973,028.
