ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. PP37,255, issued on Feb. 10.

"Chionanthus tree named 'CRMTF'" was invented by Dwayne Moon (Washington, Ga.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Chionanthus retusus tree named 'CRMTF' is disclosed, characterized by a fast growth rate, prolific white flowers and dark green foliage. The new variety is easily propagated by softwood cuttings. The new variety is a Chionanthus tree, typically used for landscapes and gardens."

The patent was filed on March 19, 2025, under Application No. 19/083,810.
