ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,492,853, issued on Dec. 9.

"Multi-function water cooler" was invented by Michael Colosimo (Tucson, Ariz.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A multi-function water cooler includes an integral ice maker, a cooling arrangement, a heating arrangement, a dispensing arrangement at a variety of temperatures, and an arrangement for tracking or measuring water dispensed. The multi-function water cooler permits a user to dispense ice and water from a single machine, as well as select and set different water temperatures to be dispensed from one nozzle."

The patent was filed on Jan. 17, 2024, under Application No. 18/415,091.
