"Motion tracking light controller" was invented by Christopher J. Hoffmann (Fayetteville, Ark.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A wearable or portable device may include a motion-based lighting control system. A motion sensor (e.g., an accelerometer and/or gyroscope) is configured to sense movement or orientation of the wearable or portable device when worn or carried. A plurality of light sources are disposed on the wearable device. Processing logic of the device is configured to receive information from the motion sensor and to control the plurality of LED lamps based on the received information."
