According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The enhanced boat anchor light is a signaling device. The enhanced boat anchor light is a safety device. The enhanced boat anchor light is configured for use with a vessel. The enhanced boat anchor light is illuminated during darkness such that the vessel can be seen on the water. The enhanced boat anchor light signals into the environment that the boat is at anchor. The enhanced boat anchor light incorporates a stanchion structure and a lamp circuit.
