ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,492,541, issued on Dec. 9.
"Anti-splash urine guard net for toilet bowls" was invented by Leobardo Gudino Garcia (North Shore, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "According to an aspect of the present invention disclosed herein, there is provided an anti-splash urine guard net, comprising: a foam net; a toilet bowl; a toilet lid; a plurality of strings attaching the foam net to the toilet bowl; and a lever, wherein: the lever is connected to the foam net and the toilet lid; and the lever is configured so the foam net will rise when the toilet lid is opened and the foam net will drop when the toilet lid is closed."
