ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,508,471, issued on Dec. 30.
"Wheelchair lower body exercise device" was invented by Husang Lee (Newton Highlands, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is directed to a wheelchair lower body exercise device allowing lower body exercises to be performed in a wheelchair. In addition, the lower body exercise includes a thigh exercise and a pelvic exercise and provides a remarkable effect of enabling lower body exercises to be performed conveniently and easily even while sitting in a wheelchair."
The patent was filed on April 16, 2024, under Application No. 18/636,617.
