According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A shower brassiere for protecting surgical wounds and wound dressings from water while the wearer showers includes a garment body which configured to be worn around a chest of the wearer. The garment body has a generally tubular shape with a top end and a bottom end which are open to an interior space of the garment body. The garment body also comprises a water impermeable material.
