ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,507,843, issued on Dec. 30.
"Portable toilet assembly" was invented by Gary K. Maurer (Midlothian, Va.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A portable toilet assembly includes a toilet seat support and a frame. The toilet seat support defines a slot that receives a cross-member of the frame to removably mount the toilet seat support to the frame whereby the toilet seat support can be removed from the frame when not in use."
The patent was filed on Jan. 15, 2024, under Application No. 18/412,824.
