"Geothermal system materials" was invented by Jesse Silverberg (Worcester, Mass.) and Arthur Evans (Fresno, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides components with metamaterial structures for use in enhanced geothermal systems."
