"Countersink preset measurement device" was invented by Kevin Lee Hawkins Jr. (Edward, N.C.) and Barbara Zuleika Cufre (Edward, N.C.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An example device includes a housing including a top portion, and a lower portion which connect together to house a spring, and a bushing disposed inside the housing with a backside of a bushing rested against the spring, and the backside of the bushing is in contact with a probe tip of a depth measurement gauge disposed in a top portion of the housing."
The patent was filed on Jan. 19, 2023, under Application No. 18/099,128.
