"Cathode material" was invented by Zurab Davidovych Gogitidze (Kiev, Ukraine).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The cathode material contains the active component, the conductive component and the connecting component. Organic biomaterial is used as the active component, acetylene carbon black is used as the conductive component and polyvinylidene fluoride is used as the connecting component."

The patent was filed on July 31, 2020, under Application No. 17/757,655.
