According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A microphone and transmitter rig includes an elongated strap. The strap has a first surface, a second surface, a first end, and a second end. On the first surface, a fastener is attached at the first end and a non-slip surface is attached at the second end. On the second surface, a clip is attached near the second end. The strap clips to a microphone and wraps around the microphone and a transmitter. The rig reduces sound interference and simplifies placement."
