"Two-channel device for two-frequency arc welding" was invented by Shimon Vainer (Be'er Sheva, Israel).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods and devices for two-channel welding arc ignition and, more particularly, to ionizing an area of a contact between an electrode and articles to be welded. Methods and devices for igniting an arc discharge and welding."

The patent was filed on Jan. 27, 2025, under Application No. 19/037,757.
