"Pycnanthemum incanum plant named 'Smokey Mountain Mint'" was invented by Brent Arpad Horvath (Fontana, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new, distinct Pycnanthemum hybrid plant, named 'Smokey Mountain Mint', as illustrated and described, characterized by the darker colored foliage of its new and mature growth."
The patent was filed on Dec. 30, 2024, under Application No. 18/831,389.
